A fractured Europe struggling to deliver on its promises \u2014 both social and ecological.<\/p>\n<h3>So, Can Europe Have It Both Ways?<\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Not without rethinking competitiveness itself.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What if we reframed it as:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe collective capacity to meet human needs within planetary boundaries while building shared wellbeing and ecological resilience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This <strong>regenerative competitiveness<\/strong> would prioritize:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cooperation over domination<\/li>\n<li>Community wellbeing over corporate profits<\/li>\n<li>Long-term resilience over short-term growth<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>A New European Vision<\/h3>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Europe can lead by example \u2014 moving beyond zero-sum competition toward a <strong>collaborative, life-centered economy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This means:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Democratizing economic power<\/li>\n<li>Embedding ecological limits in policy<\/li>\n<li>Designing social contracts that <strong>value people and planet equally<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Only then can the <strong>Green Deal<\/strong> and <strong>Social Contract<\/strong> truly reinforce each other \u2014 creating a just, sustainable future for all Europeans.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Europe\u2019s choice is clear: continue the old race or redefine success for a thriving, regenerative future.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Can Europe Have It Both Ways?
